Aneta Żurek

Cognitive-behavioral psychotherapist in the process of certification. She received training at the SWPS University in Katowice as part of a 4-year comprehensive course in cognitive-behavioral therapy, certified by the Polish Association for Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy. She holds a master’s degree in pedagogy and is a sociotherapist. She also completed a 2-year Study of Sociotherapy and Psychotherapy for Youth at the KCP in Krakow, as well as postgraduate studies in Photography in Psychotherapy and Personal Development.

She gained professional experience in various settings, including a student counselingcenter, the Day Department for the Treatment of Neurotic and Behavioral Disorders at the Psychotherapy Institute of Jagiellonian University, a Youth Education Center, and a private practice.

For her, psychotherapy is a meeting between two individuals in a safe atmosphere based on collaborative partnership, where changes occur. During sessions, various techniques are discussed to enable their application in daily life and improve the functioning of the patient/client.

She strives to create a safe space where you can share your emotions with understanding, empathy, openness, and acceptance.

She works with patients experiencing anxiety disorders, PTSD, mood disorders, low self-esteem, chronic stress, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and life crises. She also utilizes photography in the therapeutic process for personal development, self-discovery, and mindfulness.
